The Origen Project focuses on the sensory, perceptive, cognitive, environmental and socio-cultural factors which help shape the child’s brain and how he/she interprets, reacts and interacts based on his/her early experiences, from prenatal until age nine.
This project originates from the Line of Research in Neuroscience and Education which the Instituto de la Inteligencia Libre has fostered since 2012.
In this project, we advocate parenting education before conception and emphasise the importance of the mother-baby bond during gestation, as the womb is the child’s first system of reference in his/her social-emotional learning. For this reason, the Instituto de la Inteligencia Libre’s educational pathway begins with a training programme for conscious parenting. In this programme, gestation is given transcendental relevance in that the mother’s physical, emotional and mental state, as well as her environment, will influence the developing unborn child’s present and future.
In collaboration with the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP), the Instituto de la Inteligencia Libre offers an annual course which specialises in Neuroscience, Education and Prenatal Psychology: in particular, it focuses on the factors which help shape the child’s identity and the development of his/her innate and vocational faculties, through subjects such as Neuroception, Epigenetics, or the emergence of Prenatal Consciousness, and their practical application to educational contexts. This course is targeted at people who study or work in education, culture, and health science with an interest in child`s well-being and self-fulfilment. Accede a los contenidos del curso.
